Veltis, the founder of this amazing website that you are visiting, will be in the Coney Island Parade with an award winning troop of men and women. This year they will be the most outrageously tantalizing way as threats that this may be the last Mermaid Parade Coney Island may ever have due to it’s purchase to Disney! Come on friends; be there to support them by wearing of all things… plaid!!! It’s an engagement of the century, so make sure your digital cameras and camera phones are fully charged. If you have video cameras, bring them too. It’s going to be a blow out!
The group we will be in the parade with is called the Scottish Mermaids. The mermaids will be Scottish, bringing along with them the Lochness Monster, and a fabulous bagpiper. Special supporters wearing plaid will receive special treatment from the gorgeous outgoing troop members!
